I know that long since I wrote on the blog, but as you know, We are trying to grow iKidz both franchise format as own centers, and this is taking much longer than I thought management ... I know, there are no excuses, therefore, I'm back with many ideas and new items blog.
This time I bring an article with some ideas to celebrate Halloween, and step, your kids learn while having fun and making lots of activities.
Friday we did a Halloween shop in iKidz, I wanted it to be extra special, so I ordered a lot of Halloween decoration the scariest thing on the web Vegaoo.
Do not you think you have to invest too: a spider web, Some balloons, A black tablecloth, a pumpkin and the kids will make them a lot of excited to see your class or home decorated.
- Begins learning new vocabulary.
The first thing I usually do in iKidz workshops, It is to learn and work vocabulary related to the topic.
In this case, we were reviewing the bits of intelligence Halloween vocabulary and then we made a very simple file for the kids to consolidate the concepts. You can download you here If you want to work it at home.
But remember to work the card just is not worth anything if you do not work the vocabulary so that kids internalize what. To do this I usually use magnetic letters that the kids have to learn new words. One wall of our classroom is magnetic, and the kids love going to build words on the wall.
- Crafts.
Once you have worked vocabulary, it's time to take action last year 😉 We did some very cool spiders, but this year the idea was to use recycled materials, so we made a mummy and a bat with rolls of toilet paper.
For these two crafts all you need is:
- Rolls of toilet paper.
- Kitchen paper.
- Mobile eyes.
- black paint.
- Glue stick.
- Folios for bat wings.
First paint the paper roll with the bat you do, so that drying go.
When you have all the roll well painted and covered with black paint, it is time to prepare the bat wings. We use a template that the kids painted with crayons and cut.
Once you have bat wings and black roll has dried, it's time to glue the wings and moving eyes. Later, Let the kids draw a mouth with fangs and terrifying, ready!
The mummies are also easy project. Prepare with kitchen paper strips. Asks the kids that go sticking on the roll. The funny thing is they do not have to be perfectly glued, in fact, The more "tatty" is the coolest mummy will. Once you may have all the paper roll lined white paper, pegad eyes so mobile and we have our super mummy Halloween 😉
