Now yes! Your kids have started their vacations and sure you're squeezing your head thinking what you can do with them all day ...
Surely you've decided to take them to a summer camp, or have not been forced to leave them with grandparents. In any case, You may well be looking for books or resources to go over this summer.
Last week since I left un post full of resources for those who have kids that are going to pass primary next year, you may review this summer. But mine is English, today I bring 10 totally free websites that you read in this language, There are no excuses!! 😉
On this website all the necessary resources are available for the kids to learn to read. Not only tales and stories. You will also find jokes, songs and games. The only problem that I see is that, from my point of view, It has too many ads and, therefore, you have to be very aware that your kids where they should not enter.
I have already spoken on other occasions of this website. What makes it different? Children do not read stories, They listen! But also, They listen to them from the hand of famous native actors. It is a mine of stories, further, They are accompanied by a guide of things to do with kids.
As its name suggests, along with a library full of books, We give books It gives kids who read his books, the opportunity to do something good for other children. Each book read, it becomes a book that children who can not afford to buy books or access their digital format is donated. Another good thing is that the books are classified by age. Yes, in the agobiéis, It is a page for English speaking children, so it is possible that you have to search for books below the age of your kids.
It has a Premium area for which you will have to pay if you want to access. But in the many free resources disponéis, especially for the kids in the house.
On this website you will find the "almost everything", from the English alphabet, up stories, through rhymes, an art gallery where are presented paintings by different artists, simple conversations in which they have to complete words, etc.
The kids can listen to stories while they read, and even finish completing your own story.
Great for those parents who do not speak much English and was not yet dare to tell stories to their kids.
On this website, besides tales, disponéis many educational resources divided by age. Have since pre-K or preschool, some 3-4 years approximately, onwards.
The stories are mainly short stories read aloud while they follow the underlined text. A very good idea for children to associate phonics and spelling of words.
This website offers stories for slightly older children. I would recommend this page stories for primary school children.
The good thing about is that you can read and hear the story online, or download the audio.
Something you can do with downloaded stories is, record a CD and put them to the kids in the car when you go, so the whole family practiced 😉
On this website you will find not only books in English, You have books around the world!!
The best? Disponéis very old and authentic books that might not find elsewhere. Take a look because it's worth.
When I saw this page I immediately came to mind some students who know they'll love ...
As you can imagine, All stories revolve around the animal world. I think here you can take great resource for those studying Science students go over at home.
Another good thing is that the kids can go by selecting the part of the text you want to hear, so that they are read at your own pace. I love!
This web, created by Oxford Publishing, It has a specific site for schools and other resources to review at home.
But also, disponéis from storytelling, obviously native, up books by age, since the 3-4 until the 9-11 years old.
Some stories can watch them on your online version, but to access other you have to log-in or buy the paper version. In any case, researching a little you are going to access fantastic resources. Worth!
Kids Learn Inglés is the page of the British Council aimed at children to learn languages.
On previous occasions I have spoken of this site because it is full of resources for kids in the house to learn.
Easy navigation, with their upper lashes. Not only disponéis stories. The kids can also practice spelling, grammar, coloring and listen to songs and countless more resources.
Do not miss this page. Sure you will give many ideas for this summer.
I hope that with these websites, may have more than enough resources to review English this summer.

For students of 3rd, 4º ESO these sites that show I would say they are probably something children, anyway, I want to thank you for sharing these links, I'm sure that can be useful , a hug, Salvador
Hello Salvador,
Really, the links that I have left in this post are, mostly, for elementary students. Some even for 2nd cycle of Primary Education.
I'm thinking it would be interesting to prepare a similar post with links to the ESO, what do you think?
A hug,
Cristina
