Friday received the message from a mom Academy, a post he has prepared for his blog. Lorena loves the Montessori Method. He's always coming up with new materials to work with your small, and this time the activity carried out with the book "The Color Monster" loved me. I encourage you to enter into your blog and toméis note. Is fantastic!
Lorena's article gave me an idea about what could speak in the post this weekend. Capitalizing on Saturday was World Book Day, and I've never talked about books or collections of books to work with the kids emotions, This week I leave with you a collection of 30 books that come great. A reading has been said! 😉
Books on various emotions
If what you want is to work emotions in general, I recommend any of these books.
This is a book that makes a review of the main emotions Nacho hand, a child about 2-3 years old. What I like about this book is that it explains the different responses of our body to emotions, and associates these to the elements that make us feel them.
If you like how to deal with this issue by the author, You have many other books with Nacho and Laura as protagonists.
This is a recommended book for kids is from the 4-5 years old. More than a story through one character, We describe the different emotions, What makes us feel them and how we express. Personally, I think the kids find it easier to understand the emotions through a character who identify. But having a book of its kind in our library is no more.
This simple and perfect book for kids in the house. It is a book printed in hardcover, that we review the main emotions of the hand of a monkey. It is very good because it has too many elements that can mislead children. Further, associated emotions family situations for them. Perfect for reading before going to sleep!
Although speak of books about emotions in English would be the subject of another post entirely different. I did not want to mention this book on emotions in English. I think you come to go over great with the kids.
This is the book on which Lorena has done with his little activity. It is a reference book on this subject and the kids love. For me personally what I like most is the idea "Bring order" between emotions, and compare them with colors. Do not miss it!
Despite the title, This is a book about other emotions besides sadness and joy. What I like is that each monster is depicted with a mask that can be removed from the book to the child's use.
I love this book and its illustrations! Y, What do you think of the metaphors used to explain the emotions through the heart? Do not miss it!
This is the story of Paula. A girl cuyo hair changes color depending on the emotions felt. It is a very special book with illustrations and with which certain girls will feel very identified.
Books on specific emotions.
If what you seek is a book to work a particular emotion, then I leave a lot of ideas. From books to work have tantrums, to books to work loss, through the arrival of a little brother or love.
Want to help your small to manage anger and do not know quite how? This is a book that tells the story of a child is, that every time he gets angry he turns into a dragon. A story that can help kids manage tantrums differently.
10. tantrums.
When children mood swings concerns are very common, and the issue of tantrums ... What I am going to tell you ...! This is a story that deals with the subject of frustrations, desires and uncontrolled emotions that often affect kids.

A great book to work with children during this "famous" time when everything is not, It contradicts everything is older and doing things his way.
Surely many you are going to feel identified with the story of Inés.
This is a great book for working equality and diversity. I love the way through geometric shapes the author comes to convey the idea that we can all live together and share despite our differences. ¡Os love it!
¿Problems send children to sleep? This book is ideal for reading to the kids before going to bed. Surely with the "tricks" that gives this book to keep the monsters at bay all will be much easier.
This is the perfect book if your sin is going through a stage jealous produced by the arrival of a sibling. At times like this, "fiction" is the best way to try to explain to children how they feel.
For me this is one of the most special books of all that I am mentioning. Not only because of the subject matter, but by such incredible illustrations that accompany the text. A book about diversity and self-esteem that will give much to think young and old.
Surely at some point your little one asked you for love. For the love you feel about him and if some time that love is "spent". This is a concern that explain costs. Through this book sure they'll understand a little better.
The fear It is a sentiment against which all children have to struggle at one time or another. This book tells the story of a child, his grandfather and how the latter manages to lose his grandson fear you determine quite unreal situations.
This book tells the story of a child born gray, emotionless, and how a certain event will completely change.
If your child has not yet gone through that phase where costs disassociate goals or people pass through it soon. All the Children go through a time in your life where you do not understand why something must end or why someone should say goodbye. Through Catalina, the protagonist of this story, It will be much easier to explain.
You never have asked you who your kids your favorite son? If you have had to face such a complicated answer this great book will come to explain to the kids that ... all are my favorites! 😉
Do you have trouble manage your kids tantrums? This is a very common problem among children. Tantrums often lead them to live and feel a range of emotions and situations often incomprehensible for them.
Insurance through the big red monster representing Tantrum in this book, It will be much easier to understand.
Collections.
Jane Bingham is an author who has many titles that emotions are treated. The best of his books is that each emotion usually treated concretely, so you will help if your kids have trouble managing anger, the sadness, etc.
This collection features 18 titles ranging from family to jealousy, through love, grandparents ... You will love!
Most of these stories are aimed at children from Primary 1. They are stories that are great because they try sensitive issues such as bullying, the duel, the disabled. Very useful inside and outside the classroom.
Although more than stories are booklets, I think it is interesting to include this collection in the post, because with older children something else is not working emotions through simple exercises. Further, books have a guide who will explain how the different booklets can work more effectively.
This is a collection of publisher Oxford University Press, chronicling the life of a small Eskimo who will face all kinds of emotions. They are recommended books for kids between 3 and 5 years old.
In this collection you will find not only reading books. I grow up happy is an extensive collection with all kinds of emotions resources to work with the kids. Highly recommended!
This collection is recommended for kids from the 3 years old. Each of the books is an emotion specific. Find titles ranging from "Vuela, Flying, surprise", to "Away shame!"
This collection is the publisher Salvatella. You can purchase each title separately or any of the packs you'll find both the publishers and bookstores.
I hope these books will prove useful for working with kids emotions. If you know any other book that you did not mention not hesitate to tell me, I'll be happy to include 😉

Hi Lorena,
Thank you very much for your comment! 🙂
The 3-4 years usually an age in which children are particularly sensitive to loss.
There are several books that you can work the duel:
– “Beyond the great river”
– “Orange segments”.
The latter will relate sure if faced with the loss of a grandparent or loved one.
