For second consecutive Year, Centro Universitario Villanueva has invited to the roundtable on entrepreneurship in education, They organized every year as part of Day Training and Employment.
The day was a success, and I had a great time sharing Friday afternoon with students of 4th of Education.
Today I want to tell you a little what issues we try, the views of other speakers and, of course, students.
If you're planning to embark on education, The post today you are interested!
Sharing a table with Teresa Iraburu is a privilege. Having the opportunity to participate in a debate or round table with her is to learn from every word.
Teresa as well as Managing Partner, She is Pedagogical Director and Quality Director of the Kidsco Group. A group that has more than 50 nursery schools throughout Spain.
There were many topics we discussed., but I think something that both Teresa and I agree on is the importance of attitude and the ability to overcome difficulties. But, What other skills should an entrepreneur have??
But we don't just talk about the qualities that an entrepreneur should have.. Both Teresa and I talked a little about our career and experience., and we gave some advice to the students. These were some of our reflections:
- “Always surround yourself with people who know more than you”
- “Exploring and traveling the path is as important as reaching the goal”
- “Never stop learning”
- “Entrepreneurship is an attitude in life, “Not just for work.”
- “Look for solutions where others see problems”
- “Discover what you love in life and pursue it until you achieve it”
- "You are not what you accomplish, “You are what you overcome.”
What do you think of these reflections?? Would you add any more?
Another point that we discuss and that, personally, I consider it essential when starting and creating your company., is the “why” of what we do.
I'm sure it sounds familiar to you “The Golden Circle”, and the importance of as an organization, have the “Why” well defined, “How” and “What” of our business.
Most companies are very clear about what they do. (what), and how they do it (how), but not why they do it (why). Defining well the reason for our business is essential to differentiate ourselves, and much more in education, since in our field the why is everything.
On the Internet you have many pages where you can read about entrepreneurship., one of these pages is Get Started Easy, where you will find many articles and tricks that will be great for you.
I hope that if you are thinking of starting out in education, These reflections encourage you and help you a little on your path..
Further, Do not hesitate to share your reflections and points of view with us.
Thanks for being there!
