Easter Rabbits con material reciclado.

EASTER RABBITS_VAMOS CRECIENDO

Just started Easter and for you to stay at home these days entertainment options are endless with the kids.

Since activities in your city to fun crafts at home like the one I propose today.

I've done this week with my kids in 5 years some really cute Easter bunnies and super easy.

In my classes the main objective of these activities is that the kids learn specific vocabulary in English related activity while having fun.

Most have used materials are recycled, but you can always make some Easter bunnies sophisticated. It all depends on the materials you dispongáis and that you have to buy.

When I perform these activities with the kids is not free. Besides using them to strengthen processes such as attention or concentration. I use them to introduce new vocabulary that the kids learn almost without realizing.

The vocabulary that will work with this activity is as follows:

  • Scrapbook paper. Paper cuts. I used recycled wrapping paper, It can also be a good choice.
  • Toilet paper roll. Empty toilet paper rolls.
  • Markers. Highlighters.
  • Pom Poms. They use them to nose bunnies but you can also use cotton.
  • Googly Eyes. Black eyes with moving ball. The can be purchased at any craft store. You can also do it with eva rubber or paper.
  • Bow Tie Noodles. Bow tie noodles.
  • Clothespins. Clothespins.
  • Glue. Glue.
  • Paint. Painting.
  • Paint brushes. Brushes for painting.

We start?

The first thing you can do is paint noodles. You can paint the color you prefer to or leave the choice of the kids. Yo lo hice de rojo porque me pareció que combinados con el papel azul de topitos quedarían unos conejitos de Pascua muy “flamencos” 😉

While you're waiting to dry you can cut colored paper to the size of the paper rolls. If you will do this activity with children 4 the 5 years they themselves can cut without problem.

Once you may have the cut paper ask them to put glue on the roll of toilet paper and to be sticking paper gift or colors gradually.

Put the clothespins so it does not stick.

The next step is to make the ears of rabbits. With the same wrapping paper, sliced strips of. Unidlas with a little glue and one end to the other pegadlo cardboard roll so that it is an arc.

We already have almost ready to start gluing the eyes bunny, nose and noodles!

My boys decided to do each in their own way. Therefore the noodle used as a bow tie, otros como lazo y otros como rabito 😀

With a black marker vaction to paint the mouth and whiskers Bunny. We have our Easter Rabbits ready!

Do not forget that although it seems obvious, crafts help stimulate and strengthen multitude of processes, among which are:

  • Attention.
  • Concentration.
  • Memory.
  • Learning.
  • Cognition.
  • Thought.
  • Psychomotor.

So is great to use this type of activities for the kids and not so kids learn and play at the same time.

I hope you feel encouraged to make these bunnies during this holiday season and you to send me pictures so I can share with all readers.

A hug and Happy Easter!
